JOSEPH A. POJANOWSKI, III received his Bachelor of Arts in Governmental Studies from St. Michael’s College in Winooski, Vermont. Mr. Pojanowski received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. Following graduation from law school, Mr. Pojanowski was an Associate at the Law Offices of Alfred A. Porro, as well as Davies, Davies and Hall where he was elevated to Partner in 1977. Mr. Pojanowski maintained his own law firm, Law Offices of Joseph A. Pojanowski, from 1986 through 1993. Mr. Pojanowski formed the law firm of Pojanowski, Iskra, & Trawinski, P.C., which formed the successor firm of Pojanowski & Trawinski, P.C. in Clifton, New Jersey. Mr. Pojanowski joined the Firm in 2013 as General Counsel.
Mr. Pojanowski specializes in the following practice areas: commercial land use, real estate taxation, commercial transactions, residential community association and municipal law. Mr. Pojanowski has represented clients throughout the State of New Jersey including New Jersey State Assembly Committee on Housing.
He has also served as Borough Attorney for Sussex Borough, Borough of Dumont, city attorney for the cities of Passaic and Hoboken; Special Tax Counsel to the Boroughs of Paramus, Woodcliff Lake, Northvale and Norwood, and the City of Hackensack. He has served as a special litigation counsel to the Borough of Midland Park and the City of Garfield and was the zoning board attorney to the Borough of Ringwood, New Jersey.
Mr. Pojanowski has also represented many corporations, condominium associations, businesses, non-for-profit organizations and financial institutions in North Jersey during his professional practice.
