Work Experience
Ms. Ghorab is a dedicated law student with experience in business litigation, corporate matters, immigration law, and legal research. Her legal background includes judicial internships and private practice experience, providing her with exposure to a broad range of litigation and transactional matters.
Ms. Ghorab received her Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Anthropology from New York University in 2023. While at NYU, she maintained a strong academic record and was recognized as a Dean Undergraduate Research Fund Recipient, New York University Undergraduate Research Conference Award Winner, Departmental Honors in Anthropology recipient, and Russell and Diane Hawkins Research Scholar. She also participated in the NYU Public Policy Symposium.
Ms. Ghorab is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at Seton Hall University School of Law, where she serves as the Social Council Chair of the Student Bar Association and previously served as a 2L and 1L Student Bar Association Senator. She is actively involved in the Black Law Students Association, Latin American Law Students Association, and the Entertainment and Sports Law Society.
During law school, Ms. Ghorab has gained practical legal experience through internships with the Essex County Superior Court, serving under both Judge Petrillo in the Complex Business Litigation Division and Judge Venable in the Assignment Division. In these roles, she drafted motion orders and legal memoranda addressing complex procedural and litigation issues. She has also worked with The Madubuogo Firm, where she conducted legal research, reviewed contracts, and observed corporate negotiations, and with Sodette K-M Plunkett & Associates, where she assisted with immigration matters, including asylum and family-based petitions. Prior to law school, Ms. Ghorab worked as a Law Clerk with McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter LLP, assisting attorneys with legal research, motion drafting, and pre-litigation strategy.
Since joining Bertone Piccini LLP, Ms. Ghorab has continued to expand her legal experience while contributing to a variety of matters across the firm’s practice areas.
