CarePlus NJ Inc., a Paramus-based nonprofit health care provider, announced on Thursday it has appointed Jeremy Piccini to chair its board of trustees, effective July 1.

Piccini, who will take on the role for three years, previously served as a board member and vice chair of CarePlus NJ’s board and is the founding partner of Bertone Piccini LLP, a boutique law firm in Hasbouck Heights.

“Since his appointment in 2018, Jeremy has been a valuable addition to our Board,” Laura Siclari, previous CarePlus NJ board chair, said. “We are thrilled to have him step into this new role and look forward to continuing to harness his personal and professional expertise to assist us in our mission to increase access to integrated primary and behavioral health care services for adults and children in the local community.”

Piccini is taking over the role from Siclari, who joined in 2011 and served for six years as board chair.

“I’m honored to help lead such an incredible organization that does so much for our community,” said Piccini. “I’m thankful to Laura for her years of service and guidance and am grateful to have had the opportunity to work alongside her during her term. I look forward to working closely with Joe and the entire board to ensure that CarePlus continues to be a leading provider of integrated primary, behavioral health and addiction treatment services for our community.”
